“About 3 years ago, I began to experience unexplained pain in both wrists. As time progressed, it became increasingly difficult just getting dressed. I was becoming creatively pre-occupied with ways to avoid pain in just my normal, day to day activities. The pain then started in other joints. When I got to a point that I was having difficulty just getting out of bed in the morning, I made an appointment to see Dr. Wei. I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis in May, 2010. He started me on a combination of prednisone, methotrexate and Humira. Within a few weeks I began to notice improvement. I have definitely started feeling better and like my old self again. My advice would be, if you’re having continuous, unexplained pain - don’t put off seeing a rheumatologist. Most chances are, it will only get worse. Why suffer when you can be treated?”
