Four Cups Of Coffee Per Day May Help Cut the Risk Of Gout In Half in Women.
The UK’s Daily Mail reports that “four cups of coffee a day can reduce the risk of gout in women by 50%, according to” a study published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition. After analyzing data derived “from a long-term study of almost 90,000 female nurses in the US,” researchers found that women who drank “that amount or more were 57 per cent less likely to suffer the agony of a gout attack than those who drank none. Two to four cups lowered the chances of gout by about 22 per cent,” the study found.
